Statistician

As a Statistician with Capital One, you'll be involved in a wide range of activities. You'll work on building the models that form our decision making at application stage or during the customer life cycle, and designing and assessing internet tests for key insights. Plus you'll be helping us to find new ways to identify fraud, and overseeing statistical monitoring to make sure our existing strategies are, and remain, effective.

As a Capital One Statistician, you'll work in our Marketing and Analysis department. This department is unique in that it sets the course for our business through combining strategic, traditional marketing and statistical techniques into integrated decision making.

You'll have a strong academic background, ideally with a further degree in Statistics, Maths or Economics, or another numerical-based subject.

We know that qualifications aren't everything, so we're looking for people with a personality to match their performance. You'll be working as part of a team, so you need to be someone that people enjoy working with. And you don't need to know about credit cards, but you do need to enjoy challenging analytical work.
