We've gone the extra 26 miles 385 yards for Scope...
And raised over £45,000!
On April 13th, 30 Capital One staff ran the London Marathon on behalf of Scope. That's 26 miles 385 yards of pure determination
and pain! But every mile they ran raised invaluable money for Scope, the disability charity supporting children and adults
with cerebral palsy.
The Capital One team all successfully completed the Marathon and raised over £45,000 for this very worthy cause.
Scope provides a huge variety of services for children and adults with complex needs, from early years support, specialist
and inclusive education, right through to help with employment and independent living.
It's a charity we support in many ways. Capital One's recruitment team uses Scope's Leadership Recruitment programme and we
have also provided gifts and raffle items for the local Nottinghamshire based school. This year we will also be providing
volunteers to garden and decorate for the school as well as continuing to help Scope locally and nationally by providing financial
support, employee time, and providing skills and access to work for disabled people.
If you'd like to help to create greater access and equality for the millions of disabled people in the UK please support Scope
by making a donation today. Simply visit www.justgiving.com/capitaloneteam and pledge as much as you can - it will take just a few minutes.
Your donation will help Scope to drive the change to make our society the first where disabled people achieve equality.
