If you use a Windows PC do the following:
- Locate the file you want to upload.
- Right click on this file and select 'Open With', followed by 'Paint'.
The photo you are uploading will now open in the Paint application.
- At the top of this page select 'File' followed by 'Save As'.
- Rename the file and choose to save it in a location you will remember.
- Check the 'Save As' file type is set to either jpg, jpeg or png (these are the only files that will work in Photocard).
- Select 'Save'.
- Return to Photocard and upload the new file you have just created. Your photo should now upload without issue.
If you have a MAC use the following:
- Open your photo (double-click on the file itself, or open via an image viewing application, such as Preview).
- Click the 'File' menu and select 'Save As'. This will open up a window.
- Decide where you want to save this new file and what you want to call it (It?s best to change the name otherwise you will save over and replace your original image).
- Use the quality slider at the bottom of the window to reduce the quality of the image which will in turn decrease the file size of the image. Also check you save the file format to jpeg, jpg or png.
- Check the 'Save As' file type is set to either jpg, jpeg or png (these are the only files that will work in Photocard).
- Click 'Save' to complete the resizing of your image.
- Return to Photocard and upload the new file you have just created. Your photo should now upload without issue.
