Our mobile app helps you to keep track of your account wherever you are. You'll need an iPhone or Android phone, and you'll need your Capital One card handy to register. You'll be able to: Securely log in with your 6 digit passcode View your current balance Check your credit limit and how much you have available to spend See your latest transactions Check your payment information, like when and how much to pay next Make a payment to your Capital One card How can I get the mobile app? The app is available from the Apple App Store and Google Play store: iTunes for your iPhone opens in a new window Google Play for your Android phone opens in a new window Or, you can find and install it by searching for Capital One UK in the app store straight from your phone. Which mobile devices does the mobile app support? Our mobile app is designed for iPhone (iOS 7 and above) and Android devices running version 4.1.2 and above. You can access it directly from your app store by searching for 'Capital One UK' Is this mobile app free to use? Yes, our app is free to download and use. Remember that charges from your mobile network may apply - especially when you're abroad. So don't forget to turn off your data roaming. Is the mobile app secure? To download the app to your mobile, we'll take you through a registration process where you'll be asked to confirm the security details for your account. Once registered, the app will be protected by your passcode, which is unique to your mobile device. Your account data will only be accessible using this secure passcode. The app will automatically log you out after 2 minutes to keep your personal data secure. For your additional security, you can ask us to block your mobile app account access altogether by calling us at any time. I already use the app, why am I being asked to re-register? We made some big changes to the app in July 2015 which meant we needed to ask customers to re-register. This is a one off. Once you've re-registered, you'll be able to use the new look app which now enables you to make a payment to your Capital One card. What happens if I lose my phone? Access to the app is protected by your passcode. So without this information your account information will be secure. The app will automatically log you out after 2 minutes. For extra caution, you can contact us to report the loss or theft and we can block access to the app data from this mobile device. To use the app on a new device, please download it as before and complete the registration process. I've forgotten my passcode Please remove the app from your phone. Then download the app again and re-register your details. You'll be able to set up a new 6 digit passcode. We recommend that you avoid using numbers such as your date of birth or account number. I don't recognise a transaction on my account For additional information about your account, you can sign up to manage your account online. By managing your account online, you'll be able to see an additional level of information about your transactions, such as merchant details. You can also contact us securely through the secure message centre with any questions you have about your account.
