Amy joined us in 2001 and has worked in different roles each year since then, building her expertise and skills.

She finds it very rewarding working to targets that are based on long-term profit and customer satisfaction. Amy's team puts so much energy and effort into achieving great results and Amy knows her mentoring has really paid off when one of her team exceeds all expectations. The people here are brilliant - I've made some of my closest friends at Capital One.

Amy Warren, Director

Rohan has been with us for over four years, he joined a few months after graduating in Physics from Cambridge University. And during that time he's certainly been busy. Rohan began by working in our insurance business, before moving around both within our low risk acquisition business and several customer account programmes.

He currently works on increasing lending to our high-risk customers working from initial idea through to evaluation, presentation to senior stakeholders and implementation to our customers. Rohan loves solving intellectual problems within a team, and the balance between personal accountability and working together.

If you're joining us as an analyst, try to get as involved as you can. Ask questions and speak up

After taking a gap year as an international development charity youth and student worker, Rachael joined us in September 2008. Rachael spent around six months working on acquisition projects and is now part of our risk operations team helping us improve both the quality of and return on the calls we make to customers.

Like most of our analysts, Rachael has found a lot of support and opportunity here at Capital One. From graduate training, to structured feedback and developing new skills - the focus has been on doing well and really enjoying the work.

Racheal Ibbott, Senior Associate

After graduating in Mathematics from Cambridge University, Tomasz joined us in 2007. He currently works in marketing analysis after working on various projects in risk operations, low risk acquisitions and higher risk customers.

Tomasz has enjoyed great support - from his immediate manager, our most senior people and other team members. The work is challenging and the environment and training opportunities are both geared towards quick development.

The people here are impressive, but they're also a lot of fun.

Tomasz Stefanski, Senior Associate

Mark joined us in April 2005 and his career has moved on very quickly since then. As a Senior Manager, he's developed in two distinct stages.

After learning the ropes with lots of support from his peers and managers, Mark built his skills and expertise. This enabled him to make a significant individual contribution to the business that really made a difference. Later, he learned to manage a team and deliver results through others - it's all about getting the best from everyone.

My advice to a new graduate? Enjoy it and make the most of the people you joined with.

Mark Rosel, Senior Manager

After graduating in Civil Engineering from Loughborough University, Tim came on board in 2006. He's worked in very distinct roles during his time at Capital One starting out as Marketing Analyst in Savings then working in Credit Risk Management before recently taking on a role that looks at how we become compliant with new government legislation.

Tim really enjoys problem solving and having the freedom to define solutions within a bright and highly motivated team.

Capital One is a real meritocracy where as a new graduate you have lots of opportunities to develop and progress quickly.
